It’s been a week, y’all – let’s invest in a better tomorrow. We believe in a future where BIPOC businesses are offered equitable access to resources and opportunities. That’s why we’re stoked to announce that we would like to offer our creative and marketing services to 3 BIPOC-owned CPG businesses.
This giveaway aligns with our “Purpose Driven Community Engagement” Goal and more specifically our goal of supporting BIPOC owned businesses via giving away $8K in in-kind services.
How to Nominate:
- Nominate your favorite BIPOC-owned consumer packaged goods food or beverage brand by tagging them in the comments on our Instagram or Linkedin post and share why you love their products by February 25, 2021
- Brands may nominate themselves.
- Tag friends to encourage to nominate their favorite BIPOC-owned food or beverage brands
Official Rules
- Winners must be a Food or Beverage CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) product sold in retail or direct to consumer.
- Winners must be headquartered and operating within the United States
- Winner must have at least one original BIPOC founder on their team.
- All BIPOC founders combined must have equal or majority equity among founders
- No purchase is necessary.
- Nominations will be open from February 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) until February 26, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (PT)
- This giveaway is hosted by Heart Creative Inc, a B Corporation headquartered at 2293 N Interstate Ave, Portland, OR 97227
- Total number of prizes to be awarded will be 3. The actual odds of winning will be dependent upon the number of nominations received. Based on previous giveaways we estimate that the odds of winning will be approximately 1 in 50. Each nominated company will receive one “entry” in the giveaway, even in cases where they received multiple nominations.

- Grand Prize (1 Winner) Winner will receive a marketing services package valued at $5000. The prize package includes the following:
- Heart Creative’s goal is to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. Each nominated company will be assigned an entry number. This entry number will be sent to the nominated company’s Instagram Direct Messages, an email address noted on their website and/or other contact information the nominated company provides to Heart Creative via our Heart Creative Instagram Direct Messages on or before March 1, 2021. Winning numbers will be selected at random. The first entry number selected will be the grand prize winner. The next two entry numbers will be the second prize winners. Winners will be announced on or before March 4, 2021. The names of the winning companies will also be published on our website and announced on our company Instagram and LinkedIn pages.
- Winners will be contacted by a representative of Heart Creative on or before March 12, 2021 to schedule an introductory meeting. We will attempt to contact the winners twice. Winners must respond to our message to schedule the introductory meeting on or before March 26th. In the event we do not receive a response by this deadline, the winner forfeits their prize package and a new winner will be selected.
- All prizes will be awarded. In the event that any selected winner does not respond by March 26, 2021 or in the event the winner declines their prize package for any reason Heart Creative will select a new winner(s) on or before April 2, 2021. New winners will be announced on our website.
- Winners will be required to complete a W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification)and are responsible for all tax obligations related to the receipt of this giveaway. The winners will be issued a 1099 in January of 2022. They are encouraged to consult with their accountant to understand their tax obligations.
- Services awarded will be scheduled based on the availability of Heart Creative and their services teams. Services will be delivered on or before December 31, 2021
